TRAINEESHIPS
“No Cost to the Employer”
State and Federal funding is available for eligible employees within the Traineeship Program. WA State Government’s ‘User Choice’ will fund new full time employees if employed under 3 months and part time employees if employed under 12 months and working an average of 20 hours per week over 12 months. Funded Traineeships are also available for employees between 16 and 24 years of age regardless of their time in the workplace. An enrolment fee established by the WA State Department of Employment and Training of $575.00 per Trainee will be required for ‘User Choice’ participants and invoiced inline with the initial grant.
The Federal Government will also provide a $4,000 incentive payment for each eligible employee (full or part time, not casual and without an active formal qualification less that 7 years) who undertakes a Certificate III in Caravan Park Operations. Payment will be provided in two installments, the first, $1500 three months from commencement and the final payment of $2500 on completion and issuance of the qualification. The training/assessment process will depend on the Trainee's ability to attain Competency, but generally will be conducted over a 12-month period.
The cost of training, assessment and issuance of each qualification from Tubal for those who do not qualify for ‘User Choice funding will be $3,750. Payment will be invoiced and required in line with the grants and will comprise of $1500 for each participant on the first payment and the final payment of $2,250 for each participant completing the qualification.
Where an employee (or manager/owner) undertakes Certificate IV or Diploma of Caravan Park Management in line with an minimum of two Traineeships with Tubal there will be an additional cost of $2800 per Qualification and will also be invoiced inline within the grant.
