Management & Operators Program

Tubal's Learning & Assessment Structure

Tubal’s Group 3 & 4 Swimming Pool Management and Operators’ Program will be conducted within the workplace in what is known as a Competency Based Format.  For example.............

1. Participants do not need to leave the workplace.  All training and assessment will be conducted within the business, thus eliminating travelling / accommodation expenses and costly time spent away from the workplace.

2.     Tubal’s Learning and Assessment process is a self-paced  E-Learning System within a secure web, which enables experienced participants to be assessed against their daily duties of pool testing and maintenance to gain the required Units.  When all Tasks are being competently performed by the participant, a final assessment will be conducted by Tubal.  This will require evidence from participants such as, sign-off of Codes of Practice/Policies/Procedures, records of pool testing and maintenance, OH&S inspection and maintenance and, where appropriate, photos and videos of performed tasks.

3.     There are no additional time consuming theoretical assignments, the learning and assessment process is entirely conducted within the workplace.

4.     Employees who are inexperienced in pool care and maintenance may also undergo the Qualification through the same Tubal process of self-paced E-Learning while being coached by their experienced and qualified employer/manager.
