CARAVAN PARK INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION

CIA Accreditation is fast becoming a vital component of the caravan park industry. It is a very positive and highly educative process that will provide many benefits for your Park. Accreditation will improve your business, not only through OH&S and Risk Management Compliance, but will also improve organisational efficiency and provide significant recognition from the community. In addition, caravan park insurance underwriters have stated that CIA Accredited parks will attract discounted insurance premiums. They also suggest it is probable that non-Accredited parks will find it difficult to access insurance in the longer term.

WHAT IS ACCREDITATION?

1.       Accreditation provides Parks with a framework of quality business practice and compliance by meeting the quality standards of customer service, human resource, risk management, OH&S legal compliance and business planning.

2.       The Accreditation Tick is Nationally recognised as a benchmark of quality tourist business performance.

3.       Accreditation is a quality management system that provides the processes and practices to meet all compliance issues within the Park.

4.       Accreditation will improve the overall performance of the Park by management and staff having to follow and implement the required reporting and recording systems

ACCREDITATION WHY?

1.       Establish quality management systems.

2.       Provide a staff & management reporting system.

3.       Opportunity to move out of the general insurance pool and into one that will offer lower, more attractive insurance premiums.

4.       Comply with OH&S legislative requirements.

5.       Recognised by State and Federal bodies as a quality and preferred supplier of tourism.

6.       Recognised by the community and potential customers as a Quality Park.
